THE OWNER HAS REQUESTED A RENTAL APPLICATION FOR THE PURPOSES OF A CREDIT CHECK. IS THIS A COMMON PRACTICE?
In this day and age of heightened security awareness, even in our own homes & neighborhoods, a rental application authorizing the Landlord to do a credit security check is not that unusual and is becoming more common place. Think about it, here is someone renting their property on-line to an individual whom they have never met, know nothing about them, yet they are turning over the keys to the castle so to speak. Please do not construe this to be a personal affront to your character it is simply smart business.
